The Gist

THE GIST

The Gist is a literary and arts journal based in Burlington, VT and published through the University of Vermont. For three years, I worked with the Gist starting as the Layout Editor, then Prose Editor, and finally for my final year as Co-Editor-in-Chief. During my time with the Gist, I published several pieces of writing, edited prose pieces, edited and designed the layout, and as Co-Editor-in-Chief I organized the meetings, worked with printing, vetted future editors, and choreographed multiple events including the Creative Arts Expo, a week-long event highlighting artists, writers, dancers, and musicians around the campus of the university.
